FILL IT UP
Grab some regular old H2O and pour it into the washer. You'll need just under a gallon—stop filling right below the lowest roller. Add some cleaning solution (like Simple Green) if you like.
CONNECT
Plug in your 3S LiPo battery, or hook it up to a 12V DC power supply.
LOCK & LOAD YOUR DRILL
Grab your power drill (aim for 1000+ RPM for maximum cleaning power) and chuck it on the drive roller shaft.
DROP, SPIN, & WIN
DROP IN your dirty RC tires on the rollers, close the lid and squeeze the trigger. In just seconds, you'll have squeaky-clean tires ready to rip up the track!

What Our Customers Are Saying
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I maintain the bearings on the tire washer, and how often should I do it?
The bearings should be cleaned and lubricated periodically. The clearest sign that your bearings need service is excess noise or squeaking during operation. For lubrication, we highly recommend using Red & Tacky grease. However, a light oil (such as 3-in-one oil) will also work perfectly fine.
What are the battery and power requirements for the sprayer system?
The tire washer pump motor draws 4 amps briefly at startup, then settles to a continuous current of 3 amps. We offer an optional 3S LiPo 2200mAh (2.2-amp-hour) battery that is perfectly suited for this system. Under normal, intermittent use on a race day, this battery will provide about 1 hour of total runtime. If run continuously, it will power the pump for 40 minutes.
How many tires can I wash on a single battery charge?
A lot! Because a standard tire-cleaning cycle takes about 5 seconds per tire, a single charge on a 2200mAh battery is enough to wash up to 480 tires before needing a recharge. Even an “Iron Man” racer running 6 classes at a major oval event will only need to wash about 72 tires a day (6 classes × 3 races × 4 tires). One charge will easily get you through the race day with plenty of power left over to share with your pit buddies.
What C-rating does my LiPo battery need to have?
The pump motor only draws 3 amps when running, meaning a battery with a 10C rating (which allows for a 22-amp output on a 2200mAh pack) is already more than enough. Because the lowest C-rating typically available on the market today is 25C, virtually any 3S LiPo you purchase will handle the power demands effortlessly. In short: C-rating doesn’t matter for this application.
Where can I buy a compatible battery, and how much do they cost?
Compatible 3S LiPo batteries are highly affordable and widely available. You can easily find them on Amazon or your favorite RC hobby website for under $25.
⚠️ Does the tire washer have a built-in low-voltage cutoff (LVC)?
No.
The Drop In RC Tire Washer does not feature an automatic low-voltage cutoff function. Because there is no automatic shutoff, it is entirely possible to over-discharge and permanently ruin your LiPo battery if it is left plugged in or run completely dead. You must monitor your battery’s voltage manually to prevent damage and ensure safe operation.
